Unconventional Gas Infrastructure Development

Over the past number of years advances in technology have begun to unleash the vast potential of unconventional gas resources (first coal bed methane or CBM, now shale gas) across North America. However, successful and efficient development of these resources requires a different strategy than is normally employed with conventional gas resources. The very large resources and reserves potential of unconventional gas, their extensive aerial extent and long production lives after steep initial production declines all demand a well thought out infrastructure strategy.

GPMi is currently actively developing these strategies for several significant unconventional developments in both Canada and the U.S. and is able to leverage this experience to help its other clients evaluate and development their opportunities.
